Pam Arnold

Pam is Director of Services. She has held this post for a number of years and was instrumental in setting up the charity in 1999. Within her role Pam strives to bring her passion for developing healthy relationships into all her work. Addressing inequalities and promoting social justice for all. Her driving ambition is to be a leading provider within the third sector. Believing that as a service provider, the centre’s range of holistic preventative services complement the role of the statutory sector, improving outcomes for this client group.

Pam has had extensive experience of working at a strategic and practical level within the statutory and social care settings. Her skills and experience include working with many social care issues including; homelessness, criminal justice matters, mental health; alcohol and substance misuse, youth offending to name a few. Having completed postgraduate studies, Pam has lectured on a wide range of subjects and is a skilled trainer who has led workshops and conferences on related topics.
On a more fundamental level Pam is known for her malapropisms, her forgetful moments and love of fine chocolates.

Lucy Hindmarch

Lucy is our Business Development manager: Her role is to follow up leads and deliver training and consultancy. Lucy is also responsible for securing new service delivery contracts and'renegotiating existing contracts, for the charity.

Lucy has been a trainer in the corporate as well as voluntary sector for the past 12 years and trains for national, regional and local organizations including the Police, the NHS, local councils and education authorities. Lucy started her career in the Human Resources Division of Toyota UK, training staff who were working for the Japanese car manufacturer. She has acquired her experience within the voluntary sector, as a BACP accredited counsellor and front line practitioner for five years, working with individuals, couples and families and also in her role as Deputy Director of The Relationships Centre. Lucy joined in September 2000, previously working on the charity side and moving over to help develop the business arm, in January 2007.

Alison McCausland

Alison is our consultant; she has over twenty nine years experience working within the Police. Having spent the majority of this time working in the field of child protection, domestic and sexual violence, mental health, and missing persons. Having been involved with the organisations since its inception and been instrumental in guiding its development, she has invested a tremendous amount of personal time and energy into ensuring its continued

success. By developing the work of the charity she has underpinned many of the successful funding bids. As a result of her knowledge and ability to identify the service requirements for children, young people and vulnerable adults, Alison has brought in over two million pounds to provide services for her community.

Alison has over the years gained considerable experience which she puts to good use by speaking at conferences throughout the country and advising organisations and government on social policy issues.. Despite all of this Alison keeps her feet on the ground and stays in touch with what she loves doing by continuing to work closely with children, young people and their families.
